Our journey began in 2021 with a simple mission — to share the beauty and spirit of Fiji with the world.
Founded by a Fijian husband and Japanese wife, we started in Japan as Fiji Time Japan, importing Fijian products and introducing them through pop-up shops, events, and online sales. Along the way, we realized that people were not only interested in the products, but also deeply curious about Fiji itself — its culture, lifestyle, and stories.
Wanting to share Fiji more authentically, we established a base in Fiji and launched SORA Trading Fiji as our local company. In today’s world of overflowing information, we believe it’s important to share accurate and meaningful stories. This belief led us to start publishing our magazine.
In 2025, we operated “Bula Fiji Shop” at the Osaka Expo, a six-month international event, where we imported and showcased a wide range of Fijian products and distributed 45,000 copies of our magazine — helping more people discover Fiji and its unique offerings.
Our journey is still unfolding. We will continue to act as a bridge, connecting Fiji with Japan and the rest of the world, and sharing the heart of this beautiful island nation.
